How much is it to travel Thailand’s eastern islands – A cost estimation for a 13 days trip
At least since the movie “The Beach” Thailand is a famous destination for backpackers. You can get awesome beaches, good food and many other things on a small budget. But how much does it cost to travel Thailand? Based on my trips I made a sample trip on three islands. A flight is not included

This results in 7970 Baht, which is around 200€ (40 Baht = 1 Euro) or about 15€ per day. Please be aware that food, souvenirs, flights and transportation between sights is not included in the calculation. Please be also aware, that prices can change quickly, so that this calculation couldn’t be up to date anymore.
Of course all this is a sample trip, I also didn’t include the famous fullmoon party. I hope that it helps in getting in impression how much such a trip could cost.
