[Tip] Four travel apps for Android
Nowadays it’s hard to imagine that there was a time without smart-phones. Those devices combine many devices into one. Here are four free and useful Apps for Android, I would recommend using while travelling.
- OsmAnd Karten & Navigation – Free Version
OsmAnd is an application for offline application, where map data have to be downloaded first. So there is no cost for roaming, because only the GPS function is needed.
- Offline dictionairies
Offline dictionaries is what it’s name already says, a dictionary for several languages that can be used offline, if the data was downloaded.
- World Travel Guide by Triposo
This app is a guidebook application which consists of Wikitravel’s article, as before the data has to downloaded in advance. It also includes background information, metro and train plans…
- Shopping List
This is a shopping list application but I use it as an inventory list for some of my items. Every time I unpack my backpack I use it to check if I forgot anything. It’s also possible to add pictures which can be shown to someone if you’ve lost something.
Is there any application which you can recommend?
